Lunch with the Children & Project AYUDAR
The culinary arts project, established and run by Greg and Gina Ducharme with an amazing group of volunteers, is teaching the children cooking skills, motor skills and interaction with customers through the preparation and sale of food through the school.
The future goals are to have a small mobile food stand that could be used in Centro and at a special event. Part of the training is working in a professional environment that requires strict controls and attention to detail, of course this varies from student to student.
The ultimate goal is to teach the children how important it is to help their community and most importantly to build their confidence
